After seeing the recently announced lineups for Coachella and Bonnaroo, one thing was pretty clear: both lineups are strong, but altogether there's only a couple Seattle bands playing at either fest.

While supplies last, a three-day pass to next year's Bumbershoot is just $60. The only catch is that you gotta be a BumberFan, but that process is relatively simple. Meanwhile, SIFF has passes and ticket packages for next year's film festival on sale now through January 15th. And if you're looking for a fest a little further afield, specially-priced tickets to next year's Bonnaroo just went on pre-sale today.

If your squeezed-by-gas-and-groceries-and-“strip club” budget doesn’t cover flying east this month to catch Pearl Jam at Bonnaroo or Madison Square Garden, may we suggest a cheaper, closer, and more summer-vacation-y alternative: VH1’s Rock Honors show in Los Angeles on July 12.
