Double Trouble: Hawks Dealt Two Serious Injury Blows

Seahawks Head Coach Mike Holmgren made two major announcements today on the injury front, as the team prepares for his final season at the helm. Marcus Tubbs has been waived and Bobby Engram has an injury that will put him out for 6-8 weeks. Former first-round pick Tubbs was waived today, as the team appears to have given up on the oft-injured defensive tackle. He was attempting to come back from a knee injury, which had kept him out of pre-season drills and required surgery during the 2007 training camp, causing him to miss all of last season.
