Wednesday night the WAMU Theater was packed with music fans of all ages for a great mix of varying pop music styles. Alex Crick, the newest photographer to join the Seattlest ranks, was there to capture some amazing moments throughout the event. For our review of the show check out Kim and Morgen's post from yesterday.

Can't Miss It: Tuesday
IF RAP GETS JEALOUS: Somalian-American hiphop artist K'naan brings his passionate, political flavor of hiphop to the city tonight, and you should be there to experience it if that sounds up your alley. He's phenomenal, you should know, if that helps to sway you towards heading to Neumos tonight. Opening for him is Ethiopian-American local emcee Gabriel Teodros, who never ever fails to convincingly call us towards a better life with his sincere and listenable rhyme, and the gorgeous and talented YZE. Get there.
Sunday's Bumbershoot Best Bets
Antologia Polski (2:00 p.m.) brings you 50 years of Polish animation, and if you're honest with yourself, this is really the one time in your life you will have the chance to peek inside at SIFF Cinema (north side of McCaw Hall) and see a lot of Seattle's Polish population.
Weekend Music
Head to the Showbox this weekend for Ghostland Observatory tonight and tomorrow night. We've seen the Austin duo thrice before, and we can guarantee their yelpy dance-rock is much better live than in the recorded form (and much better in a packed and sweaty room like the Showbox than a spacious outdoor venue).
Aural Pleasures (9/6 - 9/12)
Yeah, we know you just spent all weekend at Bumbershoot. Is the wee little baby tired? Can't handle any more music? Ah, look at that poodum...
The Week's Picks...
Another week of Seattlest making all your plans for you. You don’t even have to think! Joy!
Some Music for This Weekend
As far as live music this weekend, may we recommend the crazy (or crazee, if you will) the Black Keys at Neumo's tonight. If you like the Liars or any noise rock band, etc, then they are for you.
