Your Oklahoma City Thunder have fired head coach P.J. Carlesimo after the team started its season 1-12. Last night, the Thunder were thumped at home by 25 points on national television and the team was booed off the floor for the second game in a row. It's been a rough month for Thunder owner Aubrey McClendon whose company, Chesapeake Energy, was forced to sell nearly a third of their stake in the precious Marcellus Shale holdings to the Norwegian energy company Statoil in order to meet another cash crunch. Two weeks ago, Seattlest chronicled the financial follies of Aubrey McClendon, CEO of Chesapeake Energy and leader of the gang who stole our Sonics. As the stock market unraveled, McClendon found himself in a margin call and was forced to sell 33 million shares of his company at nearly a $2 billion loss. Now comes word that McClendon may be reneging on his $7 million pledge to the University of Oklahoma's women's rowing team.
