Tonight the Seattle Symphony gives you Dvořák's "New World" Symphony, which we love, but then so does everyone else so it's not a remarkable that we do. It's a "locals-only" evening, with Gerard Schwarz at the podium, and the Symphony's ace up its sleeve, horn-slinger John Cerminaro. Cerminaro can make that brass curtsy and serve tea if he wants. Outdoor Theatre Groups Take Over Local Parks, Shout About Bleeding Pricks & Fat, Drunken Reprobates

It's Shakespeare, so you can't complain. That's just "Shakespearean language." Here it is, Act III, Scene 1 from The Merchant of Venice:

If you prick us, do we not bleed? if you tickle us, do we not laugh? if you poison us, do we not die?
Anyway, in Seattle we've got outdoor theatre options, and most of them are in Volunteer Park this weekend, July 14 & 15, for the Seattle Outdoor Theatre Festival.
