Get Out Saturday: Kultur Shock @ Chop Suey

Get Out Saturday: Kultur Shock @ Chop Suey

When the Crocodile Cafe abruptly closed down a month ago, we turned to a friend of ours looking for the inside scoop. Kultur Shock guitarist Val Kiossovski was bar manager down for quite a while (he's now running his own place in Lower Queen Anne, Solo, one of our favorite hangouts), so we figured if anyone knew, he would. Pretty Hate Portastatic

Pretty Hate Portastatic

Plus, their songs are dance-able, which is never a bad scene (unless of course you have seen us dance). more ›

This Weekend in Live Music

This Weekend in Live Music

If you weren't mortally wounded from the bitter Oasis/Blur feud that tore our country apart in the mid-nineties, then check out Oasis tonight at the Everett Events Center. As of the last time that we checked craigslist, tickets can be had pretty cheap. Personally we like both Oasis and Blur, but we always did consider ourselves to be the Switzerland of rock fans. more ›
