Seahawks: It was quite the weekend in the NFL. The Packers lost, the Colts won, and Tom Brady went to Denver to do us all a favor and showed Tim Tebow what a real quarterback looks like. In between all this hoopla, the Seahawks put on a dominating performance against the Chicago Bears, which included 31 unanswered points in the second half. The 38-14 win puts the Seahawks at .500 for this first time in well over a year and enables the glimmer of hope for a return to the playoffs shine just that much brighter. The defense was on fire, two of three interceptions were returned for touchdowns, and while Marshawn Lynch was limited to just 42 rushing yards, Tavaris Jackson earned a 94.4 passer rating with his 227-yard performance. We're happy for the Seahawks win, but we would like to send out well wishes to the Bears' Johnny Knox who was badly injured in the game.
Next Up: The San Francisco 49ers come to town Sunday.

Huskies Basketball: While the UW women used yesterday's 85-60 rout of Houston as an opportunity for the bench players to get some court time, the UW men were dealt an embarrassing blow at the hands of the visiting Jackrabbits of South Dakota State. Perhaps the Huskies looked past the mid-major Jackrabbits going into this game, but the 92-73 bashing quickly brought them back to reality.
Next Up: Cal State Northridge on Thursday for the men, while the women look to continue their 4-game win streak against Southern tomorrow.

Gonzaga: The ninth annual Battle in Seattle took place at the KeyArena on Saturday, and host team Gonzaga topped the Arizona Wildcats 70-61. The convincing win saw the Bulldogs go ahead early and survive a second half comeback attempt by Arizona.
Next Up: Battle of the Bulldogs as Butler comes to Spokane tomorrow night.
