Can't Miss It: Monday
Let It Faux Let It Faux Let It Faux: If you find yourself in the vicinity of the Pacific Place mall in the early evening, you might consider stepping into the main concourse of the building, where every night until New Year's Eve at 6:00p.m. they make it snow. We're not entirely sure how they are able to do this -- we're sure there's some sort of science involved -- but we like to pretend that it's either shaved asbestos or made from the tears of elves. Mayhem will ensue when an inch has accumulated and Seattlites remember they don't know how to drive in snow, causing a 16 hour traffic jam, so be sure to stick around for that.
Tonight at 6:00p.m. // Pacific Place, downtown at 6th and Pine // Free
Nostalgia On The Big Screen: If "bah, humbug" has been your running state of mind as we approach the holiday, perhaps a bit of the familiar is what you need to get in the mindset; Central Cinema is there to help out with this evening's showing of television Christmas specials. Let Charlie Brown Christmas, How The Grinch Stole Christmas and Pee Wee's Playhouse Christmas Special take you back to a less jaded time.
Tonight at 7:00p.m. // Central Cinema, 1411 21st Avenue // Free (Reserve a spot with a dinner voucher - $5)
Prince at the Tacoma Dome: No, you don't understand. Prince. At the Tacoma Dome. Tonight. Tickets are still available. Prince playing in top form, and online reports about this tour have been stellar. You do the math.
Tonight at 8:00p.m. // Tacoma Dome, 2727 East D Street in Tacoma // $20 - $216
