A Foot (And Other Disembodied Parts) Found Under Ship Canal Bridge

In keeping with tradition, here is an artist's rendering of a disembodied foot.
One of the weirder and more discomfiting news trends from the past few years returned over the weekend as a disembodied foot was found underneath a wooded portion of the Ship Canal Bridge.

What separates this incident with other similar events from the recent past is the fact that other decomposing body parts were found in the vicinity; the police are proceeding with the assumption that these were dumped from the nearby I-5, and are investigating to see if there is a connection to a similar incident that took place at a South Seattle recycling plant this last summer.

The foot beneath the Ship Canal was found by a volunteer group from Heroes for the Homeless, who were sweeping the area when they made the unfortunate discovery.

More as it develops.
