- Protestors in Olympia disrupted a press conference being given by Governor Gregoire; the group were decrying the recent cuts being made to the state's health care budget. [Publicola]
- Finally, an update on the recent story regarding the choking incident at a showing of Tower Heist. New witness reports provide the revelation that on top of talking on the phone, the victim may have also been taping the movie, speaking with the choker directly and provoked the choker further by kicking him in the knee.
