Hit the Lanes: The 13th Annual Beer Church Turkey Bowl is Tomorrow

TURKETBOWL.jpg
Washington Beer Blog Turkey Bowl rollers raising food and cash for the West Seattle Food Bank tomorrow night.

Admit it: you're a regular at the lanes, but mostly because you like to wear the snazzy shoes. Or maybe you're the ringer on your league team, and have the uncanny ability to demolish even the most lethal 7/10 split.

Even if you haven't bowled since the 6th grade, it's time to get back into the rentals--because The Washington Beer Blog has the perfect Saturday night of adult bowling planned for you. Tomorrow now, knock down some pins (and knock a few back) while raising money and food to benefit visitors to the West Seattle Food Bank.

Drop by West Seattle Bowl (the finest lanes in town) tomorrow night at 5:30 p.m. with your donation of non-perishable food products in hand to roll with or watch as eight local breweries and bars take over all 32 lanes to help alleviate hunger in West Seattle. There'll be both fun and practical prizes (like beer transportation devices, dining certificates, Winter Beer Fest tickets and plenty of beer swag from Elliott Bay, Georgetown, Naked City, Emerald City, Pike, Elysian and Schooner Exact) awarded for food raising, skill, and dumb luck. You can register on-site for $30 if you're not the plan ahead kind.

And of course, expect plenty of beer on tap. Word on the street is that there's even going to be a sneak peak of Washington Beer Blog’s Beer Church Pale Ale v3.0., and Two Beers Brewing Midnight Mass Holiday Pale Ale.

If you’d like to reserve a lane ($200 for up to 8 bowlers for 3 hours) in advance register at washingtonbeerblog@yahoo.com.
