WEEKEND OCCUPATION: Occupy Seattle continues throughout the weekend with two specific events, including one that began just about a half an hour ago. While the events take on a specific focus--foreclosure auctions and a march against police brutality--Westlake is still open for general display of dissatisfaction and shows of solidarity. Just no umbrellas, tents, or structures, please.

ZOMBIES!: ZomBCon returns for another weekend of the undead and those who love them, where else but at the Seatac Hilton. Featuring the best zombie cosplayers around, plus panels featuring Phoenix Jones and Vampy Bitme, proper methods for making survival tools in the new apocalyptic era, and zombie autopsies, it promises to be an infectionate good time.

BEAN TO BAR: Meanwhile in tastier news for humans, The NW Chocolate Festival takes over Seattle Center this weekend. With a full line-up of workshops, classes, pairing, demos, local chefs, farmers, and 19 bean-to-bar makers, it's basically a chocoholic's dream and a chocophobic's nightmare.
