Top Chef Star Parade Continues
Tom Colicchio doing his part for health and human services tomorrow at Hopelink lunch.
In recent months the Seattle area has had its share of visits from star chefs including Kevin Gillespie from Top Chef. And in the upcoming month we are getting visits from two more top chef favorites.
Chef Tom Colicchio (famous long before his time as a Top Chef Judge) will visit the area today at Bell Square and tomorrow as the keynote speaker for Hopelink at their annual Reaching Out Luncheon. Snag a seat to hear the sharp hottie for a $150 donation to support the much needed human services Hopelink provides in our area.
Next up in the Top Chef Cavalcade is a November 1 visit from Chef Stephanie Izard (winner of Top Chef season 4) who'll co-chef a $200 a head benefit for Share our Strength with Canlis' highly lauded Chef Jason Franey while promoting her new book Girl In The Kitchen. Menu highlights include "sautéed skate wing with broccoli-nectarine kimchee, escargot ravioli with bacon and tamarind-miso sauce and goat-cheese bavarois with brown sugar cake and citrus blueberries." We are hoping to talk with both of them on their brief visits to the city so look for more Top Chef News here at Seattlest soon.
