WILDE NIGHTS: Due it its immense popularity, the Taproot Theater has extended its run of An Ideal Husband, a brilliant piece by Oscar Wilde. One of the original dramedies, this witty, ultra-British bit of humor is a welcome relief from these troubled times. Check out what Jose had to say about it here, then go see it for yourself.
An Ideal Husband // Taproot Theater // 7:30 p.m. // $27 - $35
LET'S GET PHYSICS-AL: If math rock isn't nerdy enough for you, maybe you'd prefer a talk by one of Time's most influential people, who also happens to be a physicist? If that's your boom (and how couldn't it be?), head up to Town Hall, where a mere sawbuck will buy your admission into a talk by Lisa Randall, who's likely to speak on topics like string theory and the Randall-Sundrum model. Which is named after her. Did we mention that she was also the first woman ever tenured in the physics department at Princeton?
Lisa Randall // Town Hall // 7:30 p.m. // $5
