Today's the (Last) Day: Register to Vote

Just a quick reminder for all of you civic-minded Seattleites that if, for some ridiculous reason or series of excuses that you tell yourself, you've never registered to vote, today is the last day to do so. Register right this minute online.

Remember, if you haven't been able to make it to a single Occupy protest, and you don't vote, and you don't even bother to read campaign materials, you have absolutely no right to an opinion on anything that goes on. Because you didn't use the tools given to you by the United State of America to act upon them.

Angry that your car tabs are so expensive? Sad that your bus route got cancelled? Irritated with traffic due to construction? Too bad! If you don't vote, you don't get to complain.

So go vote. Because leaving mean comments on hackneyed sites like this one isn't going to change a damn thing.
