Former Mariner Bradley Booked for Battery
In today's not-so-shocking news, former Mariner Milton Bradley was given a "Go Directly to Jail" card when he was arrested in Los Angeles on Tuesday. This is just the latest trouble the former baseball player has found himself in after a career of troubling on-field and off-field behavior.
The alleged altercation occurred at the same address where Bradley was arrested in January for making threats against a woman, so there are clearly some issues going on there.
No charges were filed following the January incident, but in the wake of Tuesday's latest arrest, Bradley has been charged with felony battery. Currently out on bail, he'll be back in court for a hearing on October 18.
Back in May, the Mariners put the troubled outfielder up for assignment, effectively releasing him from the team. Since then, Bradley has not found another club to pick him up, which would be his ninth team in 11 years.
