Can't Miss It: Wednesday

Good luck picking just one thing to do tonight, friends.

HELLO, ELECTRONICA: First up: Decibel Festival begins tonight, with various shows happening kind of all over the place. Our Esteemed Guest Columnist explained our picks best, so head on over here if you'd like more details on the what, when, and where.

LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON: While Bob Marley may no longer be on the great Earth, his oldest son, Ziggy, is still swinging his dreads and serenading audiences worldwide. For reggae fans, there's little more enjoyable than an evening with this superstar of the genre. Did we mention that his new album features a duet with Wood Harrelson?

A PERFECT SONNET: If you were an emo kid in the 1990s and 2000s (which you probably were), no one strummed your heartstrings (and fueled your adolescent rage) better than drunk, smudgy, beautiful, lady-jeans-wearing, screamy Conor Oberst. Now, the boy who penned lines like 'I want a girl who's too sad to give a fuck' is back with his original trio to sing the hits (and probably play a bunch of new stuff, too). Get out your favorite polo shirt and loafers, and relive those moments you thought you'd never want back.

Bright Eyes with Kurt Vile and the Violators // 7:30 p.m. // The Paramount // $25-$23

TORO Y YOU: Toro Y Moi isn't a duo, as you may expect--it's pretty much one dude named Chazwick. And Chazwick...well, he's good company. Live, Toro Y Moi tends to swing away from the chillwave/shoegaze that first got the band (guy) noticed, and more toward up-tempo prog-rock. But if you're into something a little more melodic than, say, Bright Eyes, a night with Chazwick at the Croc may be just what the doctor ordered.

And in case you wanted to, you know, cry in the middle of your work day...here's a video that will definitely make that happen:
