Buck In Business: Rachel's Ginger Beer Breathes New Life Into Deceased Bar
It's always a bummer of epic proportions when a business goes under. But there's nothing like a good revival story to make you want to throw your hat in the air and knock back a cold one.
The Buck, on Olive Way, was once the home of a tasty, yet ultra-affordable plate o' spaghetti, not to mention plenty of rowdy cowboy color. Now, this business is history--but the building keeps on kicking. A new venture is set to preserve some the western goodness of the Buck, as well as an old-timey favorite: ginger beer.
Word is that Rachel Marshall, the chief instigator at Rachel's Ginger Beer (everyone favorite thirst-quencher at every farmers market around town), is working with partners to take over the former home of the Buck. The goal? A new, easy-to-be-in, easy-to-drink-at neighborhood watering hole called Montana.
Early word says we can expect a full bar in addition to Marshall's signature ginger brew, which will be brewing up in the back.
We’ll share more details as we get them. In the meantime rejoice that we’ve got another way to enjoy Marshall’s delicious brew (and another place to drink the boozy kind, too).
