Seattleite and convicted murderer Amanda Knox's appeals trial is winding down, as prosecutores made their closing statements. Next week, Knox and ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito will deliver their final statements next week.
The father-in-law of Susan Powell, the Puyallup woman who has been missing for 2009, has been arrested with voyeurism and child pornography. Susan Powell is still missing, and detectives continue to search for clues in her disappearance.
In non-crime-related news, area meteorologists are getting stoked for the new Doppler radar dome that's being installed in Grays Harbor. The dome will be up and running in all of its science-y-ness next week.
