Extra, Extra: Tacoma's Teachers Still On Strike



  • The City of Seattle approved a tunnel oversight committee today, inching the region closer to becoming one of the biggest, most expensive traffic experiments of all time. But at least, in theory, some one will be watching over the project.

  • Meanwhile, in Tacoma, after nearly a week a striking and an injunction ordering them to stop, teachers have still received no sanctions, nor punishments for the action.

  • And overseas, the appeal of Seattleite Amanda Knox's murder conviction is entering its final stages. There's slim to no evidence left against her, and most signs point to an overturn.
