RIP Electron Boy

Seattlest wishes to extend our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of young Erik Martin, a.k.a. Electron Boy, who passed away in his home on Friday. Martin suffered from a rare form of cancer and other health complications.

Martin's story became viral last year, when the Make-A-Wish foundation granted his wish to be a superhero for the day. The Seattle Times has written a touching obituary about the young man, you can read it here; their clip of Electron Boy's heroic day follows after the jump.
