Conspiracy To Chill: The Thievery Corporation are bringing their relaxed brand of electronica-mixed-with-world-beats to The Moore tonight, giving Seattleites a chance to dissolve whatever residual tensions they may have built up over the weekend or during Monday. Touring in support of their 2011 album, Culture of Fear, the Washington DC duo are bound to create the mellow grooves that will have you swaying, bobbing your head and perhaps even moving your body to the beat. Helping the Corporation in that endeavor are Los Amigos Invisibles, the Argentinian group that specialize in combining disco with latin and electronic beats, and who will rectify their absence from this year's Bumbershoot schedule with this showing. A perfect tonic for those who just want to move in a calm non-aggressive setting.

Tonight at 7:30p.m. // The Moore, 1932 Second Avenue // $36

All About Nomi: Paul Verhoeven's Showgirls has come to be known as one of the most, if not the most, lurid and campy exploitation movies ever created in the 16 years since it came out. It's hard for cinephiles to reconcile this movie with the rest of Verhoeven's filmography; how can the man responsible for the acid-wit satire found in Robocop and Starship Troopers create this dreck? Could it be, perhaps, that this could be more of the same? All of that aside, Showgirls remains a remarkably easy movie to pick apart and malign to hilarious effect, so the fact that the Central Cinema is showing it as part of their Hecklevision series, which allows you to text your wise-ass little comment and have it instantly show up on the screen for the amusement of others.

Tonight at 7:00p.m. // Central Cinema, 1411 21st Avenue // $8

Let Him Be Your Sledgehammer: Even if the movie industry pundits are right and the whole 3D craze is coming to an end, at the very least the technology is being used to bring unique experiences to those who aren't able to witness these events in person. Case in point, tonight's 3D showing of Peter Gabriel's concert with the New Blood Orchestra. Recorded this last March at London's HMV Apollo, the concert features new orchestral arrangements of the hits in Gabriel's discography -- there were only two performances of this program, so unless you lived in London or had the disposable income to drop everything and fly across the continent and ocean in order to catch it, tonight's presentation is the most realistic opportunity you'll have to see it as it was intended.

Tonight at 7:30p.m. // Pacific Place (600 Pine Street) or the Thornton Place Stadium (301 NE 103rd Street) // $15
