Extra, Extra: Good News for Knox, Chicken Manure and Bikini Baristas
- More good news for friends and family of convicted murderer Amanda Knox is being reported from Perugia today. Knox, who has been in appeals court this week, had a minor victory against prosecutors when the court rejected a plea for additional DNA testing.
- In non-Knox news, Snohomish County is pointing the finger at a farmer who was spreading chicken manure for stinking up the valley over the weekend. Many passing motorists simply thought the fair was in town.
- Speaking of things that stink, Kitsap County is firming up legislature to regulate the dress code for bikini barista stands. The new rules clarify pressing issues, such as how much of a given barista's breast can be showing before it becomes indecent, but will likely not offer guidance about how to get caramel sauce out of one's navel.
