Extra, Extra: In Which a Parking Garage Gets a Bail-Out
- The UW has confirmed today that a hiker who fell to his death over the weekend near Snoqualmie was a student, and a member of the crew team. The 21-year-old's name has not yet been released.
- Another convenience store robbery has provided surveillance footage of the thief, and officials are hoping that the images will help the Lynnwood Police Department apprehend the guilty man, whose face is visible on the tape.
- So, how about that war on cars, eh? Today, the Seattle City Council agreed to loan the Pacific Place Parking Garage a whopping $4 million, just to keep it open through next year. Which is more than the $1.5 million they gave it last year to stay open then.
