A few short weeks ago KNDD (1077 the End) celebrated it’s 20th year of providing Seattle listeners a wide variety of mainstream Indie & Alternative music. Over the years the station format has evolved as music has to fit Seattle’s burgeoning population. Each summer KNDD has provided Seattle with a music festival featuring some of the hottest up-and-coming acts in music. This year is no exception: for a mere $20 admission fee KNDD has put together 10 of today’s best acts and throws them together on one stage in the beautiful Marymoor Park. The fest lineup includes up-tempo party band The Naked And Famous, with more mellow rockers like Portugal. The Man.

This year’s headliners, Neon Trees, can rock out with the best of them. The real gem on this year’s bill is the Welsh act The Joy Formidable who’s sonic anthems and eccentric stage performance will be sure to entice all your senses. Be sure to catch this festival, it’s well worth the price.
