Tom Douglas Gets Mobile (For One Night Only)

Sure Tom Douglas Restaurants (TDR) do a lot of catering around the Sound, but tonight they’ll get their groove on in the city's hottest service medium-- a food truck!

And best of all: you’re invited. Tom is part of the Macy’s Culinary Council, so he’s being featured as part of the “Macy’s Chefs A-Go-Go” food truck tour that’s helping raise funds for food banks nationwide through Feeding America.

Here’s the deets:

Tom and his crew will be serving up street food from the “Macy’s Chefs A-Go-Go” truck at the Bumbershoot Visual Arts Preview tonight from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the northwest corner of the Seattle Center.

Meals are pay what you will (which is technically free, but wouldn’t you feel better about yourself if you made a donation to Feeding America?) and sure to be damn good. And it doesn't take much; just $1 can make seven meals available to those in need by supporting our local food banks. Oh, and be sure and stay after for the art—it’s always interesting!
