Beer Fest in Tacoma: Who Knew?

Well, I did. But maybe you haven't been yet. You should -- it's a good one. Here's what you can look forward to:

When/Where
The festival will be taking place this Saturday, Sept. 3rd in a new/different venue: All outdoors this time at the Foss Waterways newest parks on Dock Street. Only a few blocks from the Sound Transit parking garage and the Tacoma Dome. A nice change since the weather is supposed to be lovely (and we all know what this means for Seattle) and really, who wants to be at an indoor beer-fest on Labor Day weekend? Hopefully the smell of the beer will overpower the delightful potpourri fragrance that typically emanates from Tacoma.

It takes a lot to get me to even drive through Tacoma, let alone stop there and drink some delicious beer with a bunch of frat boys…I mean, beer snobs. But, I think this will definitely be worth it.
