25K GOLD: This just may be the exact event that the Fremont Abbey Arts Center was made for. In one night, 25 emerging visual and performance artists will bring their original works to the abbey’s vaulted hall. Painters, sculptors, choreographers, poets, musicians, playwrights, et al. will participate in the show. Visual art is displayed all night and performances run from 8 - 10:30 p.m. The all ages event, presented by Across the River Arts, is called, simply and appropriately, 25.

An always independent, experimental rock band, Cloud Cult casts its charm with cello, violin, and even onstage painters. Cloud Cult tours in a biodiesel van. The Strange Misadventures of Patty, Pattyʼs Dad, Pattyʼs Friend Jen and a Bunch of Other People, a play by Allison Moore, is in its last weekend at Annex Theatre.
