King of the nerds: In case you missed it earlier, a West Seattle resident and Seattle Lutheran student was crowned winner in the Master's Division of the World Pokemon Trading Card Game Championships. A Pokemaster in our midst!

Gardening! Despite problems with similar gardens in Ballard, some West Seattleites are carefully pressing on with their rain gardens.
