From the If You See Something, Say Something file (which has been getting a lot of action of late), we bring you news of Jennifer Phillips, a local artist who had the vast majority of her entire inventory stolen during a recent visit to the Dearborn Goodwill. The artwork, taken from Phillips' vehicle after it had been broken into, represent over two months worth of work and about $7,000 worth of income.

Adding pressure to an already sorrowful situation are the facts that Phillips will not be able to replicate the items lost due to a pregnancy that makes working with the toxic materials she uses prohibitive. What's worse, Phillips was scheduled to sell her wares at an arts festival in Portland over Labor Day weekend where she was hoping to sell her inventory. Unfortunately, it gets worse than that, as surveillance footage from the timeframe reveal that Phillips' Jeep was parked in an area not covered by store cameras, meaning that the police do not have any leads in the case, nor the resources to dig further.

If you have any information regarding this crime, please help a local artist out of a terrible situation and report it to the local authorities.
