The Seattle Asian Art Museum in Volunteer Park has free admission during the Capitol Hill Art Walk. Take advantage of it! Today is the second Thursday of the month and although it’s not as big as its older sibling, first Thursday, the Capitol Hill Art Walk should provide some interesting sights and sounds. A few visual artists that I’m excited to see are works by James Deitz and Matt Cosby at Vermillion, Charles Spitzack’s woodblock prints at Joe Bar and Moon Worship, featuring works by Kristien Ziska and Natalia Czajkiewicz at Ghost Gallery. Also, did you know that the Seattle Asian Art Museum has free admission during the art walk? Because it totally does.
The art walk goes from 5 to 8 or later and you can get a map of locations at any participating venue or go here. See you there!
