If you skipped The Bite of Seattle because you can't stand crowds, or because you were still protesting Seattle Center for some reason or another, but you still want to try a handful of international cuisines, we've got you covered.

This Sunday, from noon until 6 p.m., we recommend that you take part in the 2nd annual 12th Avenue Neighborhood Festival. The party takes over 12th between Madison and Pike to serve up bites from area restaurants for 5 bucks or less.

Head to the Hill to sample affordable treats from old timers Caffe Pettirosso, Cafe Presse, Lark, Plum and La Spiga - but be sure to save room for newcomers like The Local Vine, Barrio, High 5 Pie, Bluebird and Poquitos. And of course, the newest kids on the block, Skillet and BaBar, will be serving up some of their signature street food to celebrate the restaurant row that 12th Ave has become.

While no formal entertainment scheduled has been announced there is always plenty of hipster watching to be done on the hill. For more information visit the festival's website.
