- Area democrat and representative Jim McDermott has made clear his plan to vote against the "bipartisan" debt deal being offered by Congress and the President.
- Three early morning robberies that occurred this morning are under investigation to determine whether or not they are part of a larger series of similar robberies. The AM robbers hit stores in Tukwila, Bothel and Covington.
- The hunt for the Medina cougar has ended on a tragic note. The big cat, which was spotted over the weekend, was hit and killed in traffic today on 405.
- Microsoft may not have a spotless record regarding cultural sensitivity, and their Windows phone may not be burning up the quarterly reports, but they sure do treat their interns well.
