- A woman who had attended her high school reunion at the Little Creek Casino was killed this morning when she fell from a fifth story window. No foul play is suspected.
- The Mariners have closed a deal that confirmed rumors about whether or not they'd be sending Josh Fields and Eric Bedard to Boston. They did, in a late deal this afternoon.
- Amanda Knox's appeals trial plods along, as the DNA evidence that was recently called into question is further examined.
- And finally, as pressure grows in the other Washington to figure out what to do about the national debt, lawmakers in this Washington are cutting pay across the board...except, of course, their own pay. That hasn't been cut.
