Can't Miss It: Wednesday
TO MARKET, TO MARKET: What's for dinner? Canned tuna and frozen veggies again? Don't. Wednesdays are magical days when the City is blessed with not one, but two farmer's markets. To the South, there's the Columbia City market, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m.. And North of the ship canal, there's the market in Wallingford, from 3:30 p.m. until 7 p.m.--and both promise colorful fruits and veggies, as well as fresh cheeses, meats, and even beer.

OLD SKOOL: You used to love ska. You had your checkered sliders, your yellow sunglasses, and your sweet elbows-and-knees dance moves. You could skank all night long. What happened to those days? Get 'em back with the RX Bandits, a foursome of OGs from the O.C.** at El Corazon. It's their farewell tour--which you probably thought happened 10 years ago--so it's sure to be a heartfelt, upbeat show. Hope you've still got a pair of suspenders buried in the back of your closet. You know, to wear clipped to your pants, but not over your shoulders.
