Can't Miss It: Tuesday

CAKE-AROKEE: Tuesday nights are special at Highline, Capitol Hill's vegan dive bar. Usually Highline doesn't serve dessert, but on Tuesday nights they bust out some cake to go with their karaoke. Because just maybe good vegan booze isn't enough to get your karaoke buzz going. Pro-tip: Cake sells out fast; get there early.

FEEL GOOD SAD SONGS: That's how people have described the music of Fences. Bad boy heartthrob is how some people have described Chris Mansfield, the man behind Fences. Those two descriptions combined and people can't help but compare Mansfield to another famed emotional Northwest singer/songwriter - Elliott Smith.
