Motopony, Starbucks/iTunes Pick of the Week

Motopony
We stopped by a Starbucks this morning to grab coffee and get a little work done per usual. And imagine our surprise when the company's controlled homepage popped up our very own Motopony, smack in the center.

We love it when one of our own grabs some national attention, so we wanted to let the non-SBUX patrons among you in on the action.

Earlier this year we dropped Motopony's single "King of Diamonds" in your lap for a test drive. Well, now you have an opportunity to grab that song and download it for free from iTunes.

We've enjoyed their music immensely ever since their debut in Seattle a couple years ago. It's probably a little bit of lead singer Daniel Blue's enchantingly warbling voice and the catchy tunes found throughout their self-titled album. Daniel hasn't been stagnant for even a second. Not only has he been playing shows with his band but taking part in friends' shows, both large and small, throughout Seattle as well. He's been seen in the company of Tony Kevin Jr., Kris Orlowski and even Campfire OK at yesterday's Neumos set during Capitol Hill Block Party. He doesn't look to be slowing down anytime soon either so keep an eye out, you'll no doubt hear him at a venue soon.
