- Patty Murray is not pleased with what's happening in the other Washington. Today, she came out swinging against John Boehner's unwillingness to compromise, encouraging her voter base to email and call his offices.
- An internal investigation by the State Department of Corrections has found that security procedures at the Monroe prison unacceptable, and will likely end in disciplinary action. The investigation was launched following the death of a corrections officer, whose body was left undiscovered for 2 hours after she was killed.
- The National Organization for Women has joined the Mayor in his crusade against Backpage.com and the trafficking of minors.
