  • Police have identified an alleged burglar in Centralia not by his fingerprints, but by his furry friend. The possible criminal's canine was recovered from the scene of the crime, leading officials back to the man they believe perpetrated the break-in.
  • The Seattle City Council is attempting to patch the gaping hole left by Governor Chris "I Said No" Gregoire's haphazard veto of a bill that would have clarified the laws surrounding medical marijuana facilities. Unlike the City of Kent, Seattle appears to be working with, rather than against, MMJ patients to regulate and license dispensaries.
  • Mercer Island joins King County as a municipality that's getting fined today. The township is being slapped with a fine for over $90,000 for withholding documents regarding a sexual harassment allegation.
  • And finally, homicide detectives are looking for clues to help uncover who may be responsible for the mutilated torso of a man that was found wrapped in a rug at the CDL Recycling Plant in Georgetown. This marks Seattle's fifth homicide this year.
