NOLA NOW: Proving himself to be more than just a funny guy, New Orleans resident and comedian Harry Shearer exposes an unseen side of natural disaster with "The Big Uneasy," an insightful documentary about Hurricane Katrina. It's been nearly five years since the levies broke, and, as Shearer points out, there's still plenty to be investigated. Could the disaster haven been mitigated by better Federal response? Find out tonight at Northwest Film Forum.

READ AND DISCUSS: In case you were unaware, a fortnight is fourteen days. Don't you feel silly now? Get back your senses with some of Seattle's favorite actors, performing readings of the works of the influential and award-winning playwright, Harold Pinter, in ACT's wildly popular series, Pinter Fortnightly, tonight in the Bullitt Cabaret. The reading, to be followed by a heady discussion of the texts, will make you feel like you're auditing the world's most awesomely adult college class. Even non-lit nerds will rejoice in this Pinterish perfection.

HAS IT BEEN THAT LONG?: A lecherous-yet-impotent fellow, a steamy summer in Manhattan and Marilyn Monroe in that while dress above the subway grate. What more do you need to know? Monroe will captivate tonight as 'The Girl' in the classic Billy Wilder flick, "The Seven Year Itch," which is playing two shows at the Grand Illusion Cinema. Watch all of the before-its-time naughtiness unfold, and remember what exactly it was that made the original blonde bombshell the icon that she is today.

"The Seven Year Itch" // Grand Illusion Cinema // 6:30 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. // $5 - $7
