Correction: There is One More Person Running in the First District
We're sorry, James.
Earlier this week, we ran a story about the four candidates running to replace Jay Inslee as the First District's Representative in Congress. One problem - there are five declared candidates for the seat.
The fifth candidate is James Watkins, a Redmond businessman who challenged Inslee in 2010, taking in 42% of the vote. Watkins is the only Republican in the race so far. He is a certified cave diver, and lists B.B. King and Ben Franklin among his heroes.
We regret the error, and look forward to following Mr. Watkins's campaign.
