Can't Miss It: Tuesday
Do Zumba with people like this at the Seattle Center tonight!
GET OUTSIDE ALREADY: At long last, it seems the weather may be acknowledging that it's not winter anymore and we deserve some warmth and sunshine. And with it being the solstice and all, it really is about damn time. The best part about nicer weather is doing stuff outside without the burden of a zillion layers. Without all those cumbersome layers, it's pretty easy to get out, soak up the sun, and be active. For instance, the Seattle Center is hosting free outdoor exercise classes. Tonight at 6 pm you can do some Zumba on the Fisher Pavilion Rooftop Plaza. There is also a pickup co-ed softball game from 7 - 9 pm at the Sandlot Fields next to Northgate Community College. Or you could grab your board and join skateboarders everywhere as they celebrate Go Skateboarding Day. Or you can just go for a walk. This city is the best for long walks on nice days.

FUNNY BUSINESS: The Humor Program! is a monthly live comedy show at the Rendezvous Theatre. It follows the hijinks of your host Jake Barker and his sidekick David Tveite. Their hilarious antics are accompanied by music from Devin Badoo and The Humor Program Band. The show features stand up, interviews, puppets, and other silly stuff. This month's guests include Drew Barth, Joe Hicks, Tristan Devin, and Dan Duarte.

NATURE OF THE NORTHWEST: The green landscapes of the Northwest may inspire us all to wax poetic but most of us aren't as eloquent as the writers featured in the quarterly journal "Open Spaces". Published for nine years in Seattle and Portland, "Open Spaces" offers articles, stories, essays, and poetry on topics ranging from politics to culture, science to business, education to travel, and more. Tonight at Town Hall Seattle, contributors such as Bill Ruckelshaus, Eric Redman, and others will read from writings that provide insight into the 'innermost secrets' of life in the Pacific Northwest.
