- Maybe it's a therapy pet? A man attempted to enter the King County Courthouse today with a live snake in his backpack. The reptile was caught on the County's x-ray machine. No word on whether or not the radiation from the machine harmed the snake.
- Police have released a sketch of a woman they believe is behind three robberies in Everett. The woman's targets are espresso stands, which often have poor or no surveillance, few employees and are easy to escape from.
- Speaking of Everett, a visit to the farm in that city has sickened four individuals. Two children and two adults have been diagnosed with E. Coli, after visiting the City-run farm.
- Here on the home front, Protect Seattle Now spokesperson Ben Schiendelman said today that "Referendum 1 is the voters’ chance" to reject the deep-bore tunnel plan. This comes as a response to the Seattle Ethics and Election Commission's decision to clarify the language of the referendum, which will be turned over to voters in the fall.
