SEATTLEST MUSIC PRESENTS:Tonight, we invite you to dance, support local music, and meet some of your favorite Seattlest staffers. It's the first ever Seattlest Music Presents show, and we are pleased as punch to be at the Columbia City Theater, showcasing three of the best local acts in town: The Elderly, The Local Strangers, and Andrew Vait! So come down, say hi, and rock out with us in Columbia City.

DRILL SAND RACE: In the midst of what's sure to be a crazy time at the Georgetown Carnival (among many other things, the Carnival offers The Trailer Park Market of Curiosities, the Super 8 Film Festival in the Worlds Smallest Theater (a trailer), Circus acts with S.A.N.C.A., and music by The Eagles Aerie #1 Brass Band, Dapper Jones, Mannequin BBQ, Tick Tock Man, Thaddilliac, Max Crumble Orchestra, and God’s Favorite Beefcake), do make time to sit down and cheer on your favorite belt sander at the Power Tool Races, as scored by Titanium Sporkestra. DJANGO JUG: Wander into yesteryear this Saturday down at the Conor Byrne when gypsy jazz and jug bands collide in a dirty row. Twirl your mustache to Mouce Manouche and The Vaudevillians, and hambone to Illicit Jug Cartel and Bat Country. It's a back porch hot club type of affair, perfect for moonshine in the moonlight.

MAIN BRAIN TEN: EMP Sound-off winners Tomten anchor an evening of exquisite rock and roll alongside Exit To Main and The Brain Cooks at the Sunset Tavern Sunday.
