- A Burien woman was severely injured today when a shooter at a gas station opened fire on her car. It remains unclear whether or not the woman was targeted, or if the shooting was random.
- King County prosecutors have charged a local attorney for vandalism after he keyed at least three vehicles, one of which was parked incorrectly as part of a sting. No word as to why this particular attorney's behavior necessitated undercover behavior, but at least the lawyer knows his rights.
- The Pacific Science Center's fountain was flushed today, and while, according to the press release, it was was not quite as epic as had initially been planned (construction workers took several days, rather than one dramatic encounter), some interesting detritus still turned up.
- Despite today's pathetic showing, the weather may actually turn itself around this weekend with a predicted high of 80 degrees.
