Three Seattle PD officers have been suspended for using crass language during a traffic stop, completing Chief John Diaz's promise to crack down on profanity and racism in the department. Now if only he could retroactively suspend the "Mexican piss" guy....
However, don't expect to continue to know the names of those officers whom Diaz is disciplining--today, the Police Union ordered the City to cease publicly naming officers who receive disciplinary action.

And today in epic back-peddling, Lake Washington High School has decided not to breathalyze its senior prom attendees. After complaints that the decision to test every student in attendance for alcohol intoxication would be a violation of the student's rights, the school has decided to go back to the old system.
