Seattlest Saturday Recommendation: UDistrict StreetFair

So, it's Saturday. And somehow, you've found yourself with nothing to do. Maybe it's because you hate movies and you don't drink beer. Or maybe you just need a mid-afternoon time-killer before your night gets going. Either way, now you're in need of something to do. Bot don't fret--we've got your back. To fill the void, today we recommend the UDistrict StreetFair.

Today and tomorrow until 7 p.m. and 6 p.m., respectively, vendors and artisans will be tabling their hearts out, up and down the streets of the U. District, from Campus Parkway to 50th. With four stages and oodles of booths, there's plenty to see and listen to--plus, it's free. And there's food! From carts. And we know how you love food from carts.

Have a favorite local Etsy vendor? The StreetFair is a great place to have some in-person interaction with your favorite urban crafters. And even if you're totally broke, the fair offers plenty of things to look and and learn about.

Now, you definitely have no excuses. Peel yourself off the couch and go outside.

The UDistrict Street Fair // Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. (Sunday) or 7 p.m. (Saturday) // Free
