- An apartment fire in Everett claimed no lives, but caused around $400,000 in damage. The two-alarm fire was likely caused by a cigarette.
- The families of two cold case victims received some good news today: a registered sex offender has been linked by DNA to the unsolved murder of Patti Berry, as well as the disappearance of Tracey Brazzel.
- Temperatures in Seattle reached 70 degrees today for the first time since last November, making today the warmest day of 2011.
- But you won't be hearing any more weather on KUOW's Weekday:Friday regular meteorologist Cliff Mass and KUOW both announced today that Cliff has been asked not to return to the program.
