Coheed & Cambria - Acoustic and Rockin'

Coheed & Cambria are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their debut album Second Stage Turbine Blade with a tour that will feature them performing the album in its entirety, including an unplugged acoustic set. For a prog-rock band whose music is typically loud and high energy, the unplugged setting that they will be opening with will undoubtedly be unusually intimate and unique, allowing for the band to show off its guitar and vocal work. Previous show reviews also hint that frontman Claudio Sanchez and guitarist/vocalist Travis Stever infuse the acoustic show with engaging dialogues, which promise to be interesting given the band's conceptual albums based on a science fiction storyline, The Armory Wars. Following the opening acoustic set, Coheed & Cambria will plug in and rock the house for a longer sequence that will surely include songs from every one of their five albums.
