Don't be a Hater: Watch The Head and the Heart on Fallon

We know there's been some backlash against our most notorious local emoters. But still, when a hometown band makes it big (or at least makes it to the talk show circuit), it's worth getting stoked.

Which is why we're more than a little tickled to see The Head and the Heart scheduled to play on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, which is, we would argue, one of the better talk shows to be on.

Of course, it was just a matter of time. The Sub Pop-signed artists' latest album, which dropped on Record Store Day (and drew 'round-the-corner crowds to Easy Street and Sonic Boom) have been climbing in popularity for some time. We can't say we're surprised--we've got a big soft spot for such sweet music.

Set your DVRs now: The Head and the Heart play Fallon on May 17th. In the mean time, here's a video from Record Store day, courtesy of KEXP. Enjoy!
